Lentersdorf b.Deitenhofen, kreis Ansbach
Hans Zellhofer & Elizabetha Keller

Lentersdorf must be a very small place.  Map-searchers locate the place but never show it's name.  So it's near (or part of?) Dietenhofen in kreis Ansbach.

It was here that Hanss / Johann Zellhofer, son of Stephan, born c.1630 in Gresten Austria, and Elizabetha Keller, daughter of Jacobi, born c.1644 in Grosshabersdorf (about 10 km from Deitenhofen), married in Deitenhofen in 1660.  They lived in Lentersdorf (farmers) the remainder of their lives (1682-1684).

A son Hanss / Johann Zellhofer had remained in Lentersdorf after the deaths of his parents, but perhaps not on that farm?  In 1695 this son Hanss married Margaretha nee: Hartman, widow of Hanss Landshuter of Brachbach.  The following year the widow's farm in Brachbach took the Zellhoefer name, and remained so for several generations thru to the mid 1800's, when that Zellhoefer family had disbanded, some married and remaining in Bavaria, most migrating to the USA.

Lentersdorf2.jpg (332028 bytes) I'm not sure what the home in this picture might represent, but it came from Mani Hertlein named "Lentersdorf2".

Sorry tho, that's become a dead link

Grosshabersdorf was the birthplace c.1644 of Elizabetha Keller, RonKZ's 7th g.grandmother!
