Fred Zellhoefer emigrated from Kreis Ansbach, Bavaria, to
New Jersey, USA.
There he married Eva and they had some children.
The family surname changed from the Bavarian Zellhoefer to the
Austrian Zellhofer, probably as the result of dropping the
Bavarian umlaut spelling Zellhöfer.
