Martinsberg, Zwettl, home of the parish |
Martinsberg: Some of our kin lived in this small town,
population 1221 in 2001, and probably all worshipped at the parish in
Martinsberg.
Kleinpertholz, 5 km NE, population 834 in 2001, was home to the
largest group of kin.
Our other towns within the kreis Zwettl were
Arbesbach, Jagenbach, Langschlag, Grossenbach, Loitzenreith,
Poggschlag, Wiehalm, Nondorf, & Schoeneau. All are small towns
or hamlets. We've shown what little we could find! |

| We had many Zellhofer's and
families in the Martinsberg area, and I was so certain I could find a
good picture of their church, but came up empty-handed. It is
uncertain whether those in that area were Lutheran or Catholic.
Perhaps someone could enlighten us all???? |
