, Dorothe Marie-[2397] 2
- Born: 1802, Storkow, Neustettin
- Marriage: Zick, Christoph-[2396] on 22 Jan 1823 in Storkow, Neustettin 1
Another name for Dorothe was Henriette.
Research Notes:
from the source IGI marriage record, Dorothea is <of> Storkow, so was "from" Storkow but not necessarily born there. She is listed as Dorothea Marie ZICK, no parents shown.
Noted events:
• Alt. Birth, 1819, Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Dorothe married Christoph Zick-[2396] [MRIN: 800], son of Erdmann Zick-[3456] and Dorothea Louise Eickstadt-[3457], on 22 Jan 1823 in Storkow, Neustettin.1 (Christoph Zick-[2396] was born in 1799 in Storkow, Neustettin 3.)
Marriage Events:
• Alt. Marriage, Abt 1826, Gramenz, Neustettin. 4 This record lacks exact date and lists spouse as Dorothea Marie without surname.
Marriage Notes:
Source Love Links says they didn't migrate with their children Check whether the wife's birthname was actually Zick
MAYBE IMPORTANT!: LDS IGI NO-SOURCE RECORD LISTS Herman Eduard ZICK b 23 Jun 1837 Gramenz father Christoph mother Dorothea Louise PAGEL
Herman Eduard Zick fits right into what we have on this family. This would overcome a possible problem with Christoph Zick marrying Dorothea Marie surname listed as ZICK. It would also overcome a problem with Christoph Zick b.1799 when his listed mother was under age 13. There is another Christoph Zick listing born 1815 in STORKOW, who would fit much better into all this. His father was Michael Erdmann(!) Zick.
For these reasons I am adding this Hermann Eduard ZICK into this family, despite that there isn't really solid proof, just good deduction ! ?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, International Genealogical Index (R) (Copyright (c) 1980, 2002, data as of October 25, 2002), n/a no source info. this record lists husband's Christoph as b.1799 Storkow parents as Erdmann & "Mrs" Zick, gives exact marriage date/place, and seems therefore more credible than the alt. marriage. It's a bit unsettling that the spouse here is listed as Dorthea Marie ZICK b.1802 <of> Storkow, but based on what one sees, the Zick is probably correct. This same information is posted also to their individual records, and if this marriage record is the wrong one, then of course those parts of the individual records will also be wrong (or right, maybe!) The marriage record shows no children.

Ron Klotz-Zellhoefer, Zellhoefer researcher (PO Box 2463 Overgaard AZ 85933 928-535-9468), Merely an opinion. Originally from unknown source (probably family lore of source MGK, but possibly from a mistaken entry by RonKZ) had Christian of Baden-Wuertemmberg, with marriage to Henrietta. This does not fit the picture at all, but will be retained as "alternate" in the absence of better documentation.
