Tthis Jakob, with his wife and their 5 children, or shown on sheet received from Manfred Zellhoefer of Ansbach, noted "1840 mit 5 kindern nach Nortamerika". He is uncle of ...
the other Johann Jacob Zellhoefer, son of Johann Joseph, is on record as having left in 1838, which is the year his father died.

The destination of Pennsylvania comes from later census records in Westmoreland and Allegheny Counties in PA, which may be incorrect; the record says simply to Nordamerika. However, his son John J was found in Allegheny Co PA in the 1860 census.

It seems likely that J Jakob's first infant born/died 1818 was been Anna's child, and that she died in the childbirth. For that reason only, using status of "wife died". OAB does not list a 2nd marriage for her husband Johann Jakob
