  Research Notes:

The seemingly best record in LDS IGI has many differences and is without source, giving Albertina her AKA which is much different, but at least having exact dates and places.

source Love Links lists marriage order as 1) Taecker and 2) Klabunda, and gives no information as to any children.

as to the AKA of Ernstine Wilhelmine, it appears that there was another marriage of Carl GOTTLIEB Klabund b.ab.1810 Koldberg, Pommern to Ernestine Whilhelmine STREHLOW that might have confused some researchers! I will stick with Albertina, thank you!

• Death: Died on the way to South Dakota (from Wisconsin?), 1877.

• Census: per Polly Heil, 1880, Honey Creek Township. This can be correct only if Albertina did not die in 1877 as per several sources.

Albertina married Frederich Taecker-[3164] [MRIN: 1100] on 11 Mar 1857 in Storkow, Neustettin. (Frederich Taecker-[3164] was born in 1826 in Neustettin, Pommern and died before 1863 in Neustettin, Pommern.)

Albertina next married Carl Wilhelm Klabunde-[268] [MRIN: 97] on 11 Mar 1857 in Gramenz, Neustettin. (Carl Wilhelm Klabunde-[268] was born in 1818 in Persanzig, Neustettin, died on 21 Nov 1870 in Sauk County WI and was buried in Denzer EUB Cemetery.)

  Marriage Events:

• Alt. Marriage: LDS IGI, Abt 1863, Gramenz, Neustettin. ³ This record gives Carl's birth as 1818 in Preussen, lists children August b.abt.1864 and Julius b.abt.1866, both in Pruessen

• Immigration: from Neustettin, 1866-1870, Sauk County WI. believed to have come to Sauk County, but by 1880 son August was living in Portage, Columbia County.

  Marriage Notes:

There are several possibilities for matches found in LDS IGI, and perhaps there were two Klabunde/Mueller marriages at about the same time and in essentially the same place. This will take more cogitating to figure out with more certainty!

But this is the most specific of several records, and the ONLY one with "exact" date and place of marriage, therefore this date/place is being used here, and others shown as alternates. The biggest headache with this IGI record is her name Christine... which is found nowhere else but must be an aka for Albertina! Another problem is the lack of a film source - "submitted by a member of the LDS church" which means this could well be yet more family lore!

Another IGI record gives her hame as Ernstine Whilhelmine Friederike Müller (No Christine) but married in Storkow (not that far from Gramenz) on the same 11 Mar 1857. This record gives her birthdate as <1836>, so there are many differing opinions of this!
