As you already know, my name is Guenther Zellhoefer and I was born on December 17, 1937 in Rehau, Bavaria.
My father Ernst Zellhoefer was born on April 14, 1915 in Schwarzenbach an der Saale (which is about 8 km away from the town of Rehau). He died on October 25, 1943 during the war in Russia.
Since I barely new my father, I have so far not carried out any genealogy studies.
After my return from my forthcoming September holiday, I will try to compile more details about my ancestors.
I visited your website and had the result of your research printed out and my friend will translate it for me when she has time. I would like to express my congratulations for the progress aloready achieved by you in this matter.
