  • Died: 3 Feb 1981, Sauk-PrairieMemHosp WI at age 92

  General Notes:

Ella was a little woman - her son Myron said she could run faster than any woman. She bore two sets of twins and said "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy".

Husband George died a bit before his time - he had promised her when he reached 65 they were going to retire and move to Florida(and they'd never been CLOSE to Florida!) but of course that never happened.

During their marriage they added to their holdings the Denzer farm next just on the bend in the road. Son Allen & Irma lived there and helped work both the farms. When GrampaK died , Allen & Irma did not inherit the farm as they expected (and thought they deserved). Myron and Vernice were executors of the estate, and were blamed forever after by Allen& Irma, to the extent that they did not speak until after Myron died!

That sort of estrangement seems to run in the paternal family - brothers George & Leonhart Zellhoefer, Myron & Allen, Glen Klotz did not speak to brother Ron from the time of Ron's first divorce; Ron & dad Myron didn't speak for about Myron's last 15 years, etc etc..

Ella married George Martin Klotz Jr-[12] [MRIN: 392], son of George Martin Zellhoefer-Klotz-[11] and Verena Luetscher-[527], on 22 Sep 1910 in Honey Creek Township. (George Martin Klotz Jr-[12] was born on 6 Jan 1887 in Honey Creek Township, died on 22 Jul 1955 in Honey Creek Township and was buried in 1955 in Honey Creek Township.)
