Research Notes:
Sebald & Barbara appear to be the very first Gresten>Mittelfranken migrant of the Zellhofer's and their famlies, even before the 30-years-war and before exulanten from what is now known by RonKZ,
1) The Handschrift list from SOURCE Judith Zellhoefer seems to root in Austria, so it seems reasonable to assume Gresten Austria for this man's birthplace. However, there was found another Sebalt born later in Gresten, which needs to be rechecked.
2) The pedigree from SOURCE Manfred Hertlein DOES state b.1577 in Gresten died 1669. These are the posted dates, but conflict by 5 years with next:
3) GFF lists Zellhöfer, Sebald, Einwohner [resident} in Unternesselbach * 1572 + 1664, GF M156 (Mappe 156 (Ahnenliste Gerhard Süß in der GFF-Geschäftsstelle, Statsarchiv Nürnberg.)
1) above uses the umlaut, spelling Zellhöfer;
2) above does not use the umlaut, spelling Zellhofer
